About

More than a gym.
A house of barbells.

Barbellhouse opened in RR Nagar in 2021 with one belief — serious training should feel like home. Olympic platforms, IWF bumpers, calibrated bars, and a coaching floor where the first-timer and the national qualifier share the same chalk.

You'll find quiet at 6 AM, music at 6 PM, and someone willing to spot you whenever you walk in. Whether you're chasing a snatch PR or your first clean off the floor, you have a seat at this house.

  • IWF-standard equipment. Competition bars, bumpers, platforms.
  • Coached, not crowded. Eyes-on lifting, every session.
  • Real meets, in-house. Compete here before you compete anywhere.
The floor

Built for the work,
tuned for the day.

One long platform strip down the middle of the hall, racks lining either side, conditioning tucked into the back. Wide enough for an Olympic class to share with a Saturday crosslifting session — narrow enough that a coach is always within earshot.

It's a working gym, not a showroom. Chalk on the floor by 7. Bumpers stacked by 9. Lights up until ten.

Strength is not given.
It is earned.

What we offer

Five programs.
One floor.

Structured training for every stage of athlete.

Wordmark wall and Olympic platforms

Olympic Weightlifting

Snatch and clean & jerk under coached eyes. Technique drills, accessory work, periodised strength, competition prep — for first lifts and national platforms alike.

  • Snatch & C&J technique
  • Strength cycles
  • Meet preparation
Air bikes and rowers in the conditioning row

Crosslifting

Functional fitness with a barbell on the spine. Conditioning, gymnastics and weightlifting in 60-minute coached blocks — programmed for the long arc, not the daily grind.

  • Functional movement
  • Metabolic conditioning
  • Comp-ready workouts
Squat racks and conditioning tools

Strength & Conditioning

Squat, bench, deadlift — periodised programming for raw strength and athletic performance. The big three plus the small things that make them stick.

  • Squat / bench / deadlift focus
  • Periodised programming
  • Athletic performance
Dumbbell rack and free weights area

Personal Training

1-on-1 coaching tailored to your goal — from your first body-weight squat to a national meet platform. The same eyes, every rep, until the lift becomes yours.

  • Bespoke programs
  • Eyes-on, every rep
  • Goal-driven progression

Yoga & Mobility

Breath, asana and recovery. Slow work to keep the heavy work honest — open hips, open shoulders, open lungs. Programmed alongside the lifting blocks, not against them.

  • Asana & pranayama
  • Mobility for lifters
  • Recovery & restoration
The team

Coaches.

Four lifters who run the floor. Between them: state, national, and Khelo India platforms.
